Goal: Learn how to use the Sumo paint online program to create a computer painting.

Week 1:

Introduction to Sumo Paint

1. Click Play to watch the videos of Ms. Branson demonstrating the Sumo Paint program. Keep your eyes on the pointer, notice what it clicks and what the different tools do.

2. Open Sumo Paint by clicking the link.

3. Today, just practice using all the different tools.

Week 2: 
Creating a drawing of choice

1. Click Play to review the video \of Ms. Branson demonstrating the Sumo Paint program. Keep your eyes on the pointer, notice what it clicks and what the different tools do.

2. Open Sumo Paint by clicking the link.

3. Today, you will make your own painting of whatever you want.

4. At the end of class we will save your work to your classroom folder. Make sure you name it with your name. Watch the video to see how.

Weeks 3 & 4: 
Finish first painting and create more

1. If needed, click Play to review the video of Ms. Branson demonstrating the Sumo Paint program. Keep your eyes on the pointer, notice what it clicks and what the different tools do.

2. Open Sumo Paint by clicking the link. Open your saved painting.

3. Finish your painting and continue on to make more. For your second painting, make a painting of one of the seasons.

4. At the end of class we will save your work to your classroom folder. Make sure you name it with your name. Watch the video to see how.
