Charting with Google

Description

  • You will be completing a spreadsheet project in this unit using the data we collect on the number of student birthdays in each month.
  • You will be using the data to create first a bar graph and then a pie chart and a line graph.
  • We are using Google Sheets to do this project.
  • We are doing this so you know how to represent data with a computer. It will help you with school projects (like the Science Fair) and in your career.
  • You know you understand it when you can check off everything in the list under Grading Criteria on this page and you can make tables and graphs on your own as needed in the future.

Essential Question

How can we use the computer to enhance our data collection and presentation?
