Goal: Create a Google Presentation
- Your presentation will be about Computer Terms
- Each term will have it's own slide with it's definition
- Each slide needs at least one picture. Do a Google image search.
Why
Essential Question: How can computers help us to communicate our ideas visually?
Enduring Understanding: With presentation applications, like Google Slides, we can create dynamic and engaging presentations to communicate to an audience.
What we have learned: How to combine text and images in a Google Doc.
We are using Google Slides to create this project. We are doing this so you know how to present ideas and communicate in a dynamic way to a group. It will help you with school projects and in your career.
Procedure
You will be assigned a group (A, B, or C). You will create a Google presentation with a slide for each term and definition with example pictures, animations, and transitions. On presentation day, you will be in a group of 3, one student from each letter group. You will take turns presenting your presentation to each other, so everyone learns all the terms. There will be an online quiz at the end of the unit covering all the terms. You can use the embedded Quizlet to practice.
Grading Criteria
A = Completed presentation with a slide and correct picture for each term, animations, and transitions.
B = Completed presentation with some pictures missing or incorrect, or no animations, or no transitions.
C = Partially compete presentation with animations and transitions, or completed PowerPoint with no animations and no transitions
D = Incomplete presentation missing animations and transitions
F = No attempt at finishing, no pictures, not all the terms, no animations and no transitionsResources
